Sound Brass are the UK’s most current brass ensemble. Mixing their eclectic repertoire with versatility and professional experience, they cater for all types of event and occasion, whether it requires background music or a concert recital, a wedding fanfare, ceremonial or up-tempo reception music, a graduation fanfare, ceremonial ship launch, or even an educational workshop. They require no amplification, and can play a very broad range of styles from jazz to classical. They have their own unique arrangements, and are something rather different from the usual jazz or classical ensemble.
The band pride themselves particularly on their Christmas Entertainment, and have brought out a debut album of festive music to great acclaim. Their Christmas repertoire is suitable for private functions, corporate parties, delightful venues, and even the relaxed atmosphere of a city bar! They feature hundreds of carols as well as bespoke arrangements of pop classics from Fairytale of New York to Wham!’s Last Christmas, often with the addition of a classically-trained singer.
