Profile: Our very own and much-treasured Gentlemen of Hampton Court is a six-voice acapella close harmony vocal ensemble like the much-revered King’s Singers. The singers are in fact Gentlemen of the Choir of HM Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace (as featured on BBC 4 in October 2017). They perform a wide selection of pop, rock, jazz and folk-song, in addition to the sacred music they sing regularly in the Chapel Royal. Like similar groups, including The King’s Singers, they perform a number of their own arrangements, as several members are highly skilled arrangers and composers. The Gentlemen of Hampton Court are available for all types of event including corporate and wedding entertainment, in addition to recital and concert programmes.
