Piano at venue only
Area: London and South-East England
Repertoire: Jazz, popular and many other non-classical genres from the 1920s to the present day
Profile: With a repertoire of over 1,000 songs, mostly learned by ear and arranged by himself, James is a versatile, sensitive and highly intuitive pianist. He has been playing professionally since 2001, and he plays at concerts, weddings, birthdays and other special events. He has played at some excellent venues, including Camden Jazz Café, and his style has been compared to those of Oscar Peterson. But he is not just a jazz player: more or less any non-classical genre since the 1920s is within his scope. Country, folk, rock, disco, indie, alternative, blues, soul, reggae – you name it, he can probably play it.
