Profile:  We are very fortunate to be able to offer you our highly-esteemed Piper, who is a former Scots Guards Piper who has been playing at the very highest standard for over 30 years. He has performed as the Lone Piper on the castle ramparts at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and at many events, including State Occasions and weddings. He attended the Senior Piper’s course at Edinburgh Castle, and has been an active and well known Pipe Major for some 20 years. When booking him, our clients can be assured of a high degree of professionalism in turnout, deportment, and, of course, musicianship. Profile:  Not only a perfectly elegant background string quartet, the infamous Bowjangles have a trick up their sleeves. The group have a unique music-comedy show which they have performed at private and corporate events, theatres and arts festivals the world over. This exciting show combines cleverly-arranged music of many genres with four-part harmony singing, hilarious comedy and energetic dance moves. Where appropriate, the group can also serenade your guests and even introduce a little gentle audience participation. When Bowjangles play first gentle background music and then something a little different, your guests will be drawn into an exciting entertainment. The Bowjangles show works well at drinks receptions or as an after-dinner show, and is flexible enough to be performed in most venues, from large well equipped stages to smaller rooms. The group can play with or without radio microphones depending on the size of audience. Bowjangles are a string quartet like you will never have seen before. All classically trained to virtuosic levels, they also leap, juggle, sing and joke, leaving their audiences incredulous. Expect a cello-playing Charleston, a sexy tango, musical tennis, sweet four part harmony singing and to laugh until your sides ache. A perfect after dinner experience for any kind of event.
